A mid-size General Contractor is seeking a qualified commercial estimator in Orlando, FL with 5 to 7 years experience in Estimating. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary of $80,000 base, comprehensive benefits to include 401K as well as a positive working environment. Responsibilities:

• Read and understand plans and blueprints
• Generate conceptual bids
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Preparation and submission of bids
• On-site visits
• Liaise with project executives, project managers, subcontractors and clients

Requirements:

• 5 - 7 years of commercial estimating experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management / Engineering
• Experience is Healthcare, Industrial, Office, Retail, Multi-Use
• Estimating software to include OST, PlanSwift, MS Project, iSqFt, Timberline
• Effective Communication
• Detail Orientated
• Ability to work on various projects simultaneously
