Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join our client's team in Miami, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for leading preconstruction activities for a variety of projects in the region. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will play a vital role in developing accurate cost estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:
- Lead preconstruction efforts for assigned projects, including budgeting, estimating, and value engineering.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans and schedules.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project documents, specifications, and drawings to identify project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Manage subcontractor bidding and procurement processes to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Provide expertise and guidance on construction methods, materials, and technologies to optimize project outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to promote collaboration and communication throughout the preconstruction phase.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in preconstruction management within the commercial construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading preconstruction efforts for large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret project documents and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
