Responsibilities

• Lead the development of accurate and comprehensive concrete estimates for large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
• Analyze project documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Collaborate with project teams to determine construction methods, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop subcontractor scopes and ensure competitive pricing for concrete work packages.
• Present cost estimates and value engineering solutions to internal teams and clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
  • 10+ years of concrete estimating experience, particularly for projects exceeding $50MM.
  • Expertise in Healthcare, Higher Education, and/or Life Sciences sectors is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, labor costs, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
