Our client, one of Florida's most innovative and largest General Contractors currently ranking among the ENR Top 15 is seeking a Director of Preconstruction to join their team in the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area. This position offers the opportunity to further progression within the company and to become a member of the company's executive leadership team.

This position reports to and receives direction from the SVP of Preconstruction for the SE Region.

As the director of Preconstruction the primary objective of this position is to manage the process and resources and provide quality pre-construction services to both internal and external clients. This position will also lead and oversee the progress of existing project & preconstruction team members that currently reside Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers offices. Experience with leading projects in the following markets - Higher Education, Healthcare & Corporate Commercial is essential.

Required to qualify for this position:

• Degree in Construction Management or related discipline
• 12 plus years of years of experience in Cost Estimating/Preconstruction.
• On-Site experience
• Experience in leading a team
• Technologies: OST, Timberline, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore
