Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Perform detailed takeoffs from project drawings and specifications, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, negotiating competitive pricing.
• Analyze project plans to identify risks and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to avoid cost overruns.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, ensuring completeness and compliance with project requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and other internal teams to track budgets and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs and assist in monitoring financial performance throughout the life of the project.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to team projects.
• A detail-oriented and organized approach to managing multiple project estimates simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of local construction market trends and material pricing in Southwest Florida is a plus.
