Job Duties

Cost Estimation:

• Conduct meticulous and comprehensive cost estimates for Commercial Construction, Commercial Interiors, and Multifamily projects.
• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and relevant documentation to grasp project requirements.

Bid Preparation:

• Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for client submissions.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and ensure precise bid submissions.

Value Engineering:

• Identify and propose value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Work closely with project teams to explore alternative materials and methods for enhanced project efficiency.

Budget Analysis:

• Collaborate with project managers and executives to analyze project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Provide regular updates on budgetary considerations throughout the bidding process.

Bid Presentation:

• Effectively communicate and present bid details to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Address client inquiries, providing additional information as needed.

• 2-6+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry trends.
