• 1+ year of experience in estimating or related roles in construction; experience with concrete work preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction plans, blueprints, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with estimating software or willingness to learn quickly; experience with 3D modeling or BIM software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for calculations, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Strong mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail to assess project requirements accurately.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across departments.
• Eager to learn, with a strong interest in the concrete industry and a desire to build a long-term career in construction.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying project needs.
• Team player with a collaborative approach, open to mentorship, and able to work well within a larger team structure.
