Our client is a award winning General Contractor with revenue of $750M+ Per year. Our client is a GC who are ranked within the ENR Top 200 list of General Contracting firms. As a Preconstruction Estimator you will work with a strong Preconstruction team on a diverse range of commercial projects throughout the Greater Washington, DC area.

• Perform and Check Quantity take-off
• Solicit Sub-pricing and verify scopes
• Develop conceptual or schematic phase estimates
• Verification of labor and material costs

• Attend design and construction review meetings.

• Review details for practicality of Construction.

• Perform conceptual estimating services during the design period.

• Review and provide comments on final concept drawings and working drawings.

• Coordinate and supervise employees and consultants

• Develop the Project Budget

• Look at Budget feasibility and Schedule optimization.

• Maintain relationships with Owner and Design Team

• Facilitate design decision-making

• Review and determine project General conditions and requirements for Design/Build CM and CMc

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• A minimum of thee years Estimating experience.
• Three years of experience in construction management or general contracting is required.
• REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Possess strong team building; interpersonal; decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
• This position requires strong verbal communication skills.
