Job Description

As the Preconstruction Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading preconstruction efforts and overseeing the entire process. With the aim of growing into the position of Director of Preconstruction in the next few years, you will be the most senior preconstruction staff member in the Naples office, responsible for driving the success of preconstruction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of preconstruction efforts, including estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as estimators, designers, architects, and engineers, to develop accurate and comprehensive project estimates and budgets.
• Ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards by conducting thorough reviews of project plans, specifications, and documents.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to the project team throughout the preconstruction phase, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Mentor and lead junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering partnerships that drive project success.
• Collaborate closely with the executive team to shape the strategic direction of the Preconstruction department.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in preconstruction within a large general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of the construction industry, with expertise in healthcare, commercial, education, hospitality, or related sectors.
• Experience in onsite construction delivery or knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
