Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Estimator, you will oversee large-scale estimating efforts and contribute strategic insights to ensure successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the overall estimating process for multiple projects, from initial feasibility studies to final bids.
• Collaborating with leadership to develop strategic plans for preconstruction services.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment for complex scopes of work.
• Leading the evaluation of bid specifications, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Establishing and maintaining strong subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Overseeing the preparation and review of bid packages and proposal documents.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and team members.
• Utilizing historical data and industry trends to improve accuracy and efficiency in estimating processes.
• Driving innovation by implementing new technologies and best practices in estimating.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 8 years of experience in construction estimating, with demonstrated expertise in commercial and multifamily projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing estimating teams.
• Advanced proficiency in estimating and takeoff software, including Autodesk and other industry tools.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
