Position Overview
As an Estimator with our client, you will play a vital role in the commercial construction process. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, ensuring competitiveness, and delivering precise bid proposals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1-4+ years of estimating experience, preferably with a General Contractor, to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of a leading construction firm.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 1-4+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be located in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering alternatives.
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals, negotiating pricing when necessary.
- Prepare accurate and competitive bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide ongoing support during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Utilize estimating software and tools effectively to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
