Excellent opportunity for a Commercial Estimator to join the team of a full services General Contractor who specializes in commercial, institutional, educational and government projects in their Washington D.C. / Bethesda area.The position will offer the opportunity to work autonomously on projects, whilst leading and developing a team. It will offer a competitive compensation package with industry leading benefits.What you’ll do:

• Manage preconstruction phases of multiple projects at any one time.
• Develop detailed estimates at all stages on the design phase and perform conceptual estimating services.
• Manage & coordinator all CSI divisions.

• Develop the Project Budget in line with the pre-planned strategy and in accordance with the RFP.
• Prepare & present proposals at owner meetings.
• Effectively delegate tasks to staff and manage this throughout all stages of preconstruction.

What you’ll need:

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of preconstruction and estimating experience in the commercial field.
• Large project experience a bonus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term relationships with all project stakeholders, clients, designers, subcontractors, operations team etc.
